Cardio Workouts

You just never know when all those cardio workouts are going to come in handy.  But if you haven’t needed superior cardio fitness to survive a zombie outbreak (yet), there are lots of other nice benefits.  You will get to experience the benefits of burning fat, losing weight, looking great, feeling great, getting your cholesterol right, and lowering your blood pressure just to name a few. 

Plus you will be ready just in case.

There is really nothing un-cardio about a boot camp workout.  Boot camp workouts are cardio almost from beginning to end.  There are a lot of bodyweight strength exercises involved but they are always mixed in with a lot of running, sprinting, jumping, crawling, and plenty of other things designed to tire you out.

If you are a rabbit and love to run, here you go.  You will still have to do some strength work so don’t get too comfortable.  If you’re a strength oriented person and kind of a tank when it comes to running, you’re still in the right place.  If you get the rabbit and the tank together and have them both run carrying a cement paver, they suddenly get a lot more even.

This is the work that makes you FIT.  This isn't the same old 4 mile loop around the neighborhood, and it's not the same old 3 sets of 10 in the gym.  This is the work that will turn you into a beast.  For more detail on just how much these workouts can turn your beast mode on, read the section on "Combining Cardio with Strength Training Exercises" on the Boot Camp Workout page.  The effectiveness of these workouts can be startling.

Prove it to yourself by doing these workouts for a while and then have your buddy who strictly runs or the one who just lifts come do a Spartan race with you.  You will leave them in the dust (or mud).
